Those few days in the Caribbean cost were simply amazing ! Our little journey began with an hour and a half boat ride which felt more like an aquatic attraction than a mean of transport. Soaking wet, we arrived in Capurgana and decided to stay and watch the game Columbia-Poland before heading off to our final destination. Safe to stay that the atmosphere was at its peak when Colombia shoot those 3 goals against 0 for Poland. We then took another boat to reach Sapzurro. The camping that we settle for there was perfect for 2 reasons. First there was a mango which gave delicious baby mango and second of all, the hostess was an amazing cook. Between the rice cooked in coco water, the coco/shrimp curry, the garlic/langoustine pasta, the fried banana and the grilled fish, every day we enjoyed food so much ! The rest of our days was basically beach, reading, swimming, picking up seashell (for me), and drinking a beer while watching the sunset. I know, life is hard ... After those few days, very chill, we decided to change place and return to Capurgana rather than staying here a few more days - after 8 months travelling it felt very weird doing nothing of our day... Anyway, we take the boat again, and get shown the way by a really nice local guy, who, like every other columbian, is shocked that we can dance and offers immediately to be our professeur. Once settled down, we have a little break down and decide to go ... diving !!! It was beyond real, like being plunged into a dream. We were able to see one shark ( no one panick, not all shark are dangerous, but boy were we glad to have been warned before), a turtle, amazing fishes, loads of colorful corals. The only small downside was that there were a lot of current and waves... and thus I had a small puking accident while going back up... but anyway that’s not what needs to be remembered! Later, in the evening we went out with our diving teacher and his friends. It was all what one might hope for of a Colombian night out ! One of his friend was an amazing dancer and she spent the whole night teaching us how to danse (I’m gonna reassure everyone, we still can’t). Another thing that we really enjoyed was that everyone there has some basic dance moves and dancing by two is completely normal, there’s no undertone, it’s just for them the only real way to dance salsa, meringue, etc ... And for us it was a lot of fun. In short, a dream week !
