Goodbye Nepal, Hello Myanmar !!! The end of solitary treks, lost villages in the mountains, walks out of the beaten tracks, that we decided to replace by big touristic spots in Myanmar, but for good reasons ! We are both so excited as we’re meeting with Lea and Flore, the two French girls we met in Mongolia. Our first stop was the amazing Bagan, known for its wonderful sunsets and sunrises. We couldn’t get our mind around how many temples there were in this region. Everywhere you look : temples as far as the eye can see !!! We rented scooters and rode along surreal landscape for two days. Well when I say two days, it was mostly waking up at 5 am to see the amazing sunset with the balloons filling up the sky, continuing riding around to find the next best spot for the next sunrise/sunset, whilst the air was still relatively cold, coming back for breakfast, playing coinche ( a French card game) for most of the day, going back out for sunset, playing some more coinche but this time with beer and then sleeping. But then again one picture is worth a thousand words so I will let you enjoy them !
