D-1 until our first stop: Mongolia

The day we have been planning for 4,380 days has finally arrived - we are finally setting off on our world tour!

The last couple of weeks have been busy with preparations such as getting vaccines, visas, getting lost in the overload of information on internet. And yet, we both set off with untameable butterflies in our stomachs knowing that the last step is saying goodbye to our families and hello to the road ahead

Once it is done, there is no turning back, the adventure must begin! I am flying from Dublin to meet Agathe in Paris, where we will take a direct flight to Moscow and then from Moscow to Ulaanbaatar.

We are really excited to meet up as we haven’t seen each other since Christmas, despite frequent contact over the phone since then. It should hopefully be comforting to see the twinkle of fear in someone else’s eyes for a change!

To make this short and sweet, we are hoping to use our blog as a way of sharing our adventures with our family, friends and anyone that might be interested. Our plan is to try and update it regularly with pictures and posts, so come check it out once in a while to see what’s going on!
